BIG NEWS!
I went to a high school dance last night.
I typically go to these social functions for the sake of watching teenagers in strange clothing do what they do best: wiggle and convulse. (Believe it or not, I'm a fantastic dancer.)
Not as much grinding as last time, so that's always a plus, right?
My friends and I have made it a tradition to stop by the local Waffle House for chocolate chip pancakes and people watching at 1 AM. The world gets strange at Waffle O'clock.
EVEN BIGGER NEWS!
I met with author ReShonda Billingsley from Brown Girls Publishing at the local library to get some tips of the trade.
I was sweating bullets. Here was this charismatic, friendly authoress giving a Q&A about everything that I want to do in life: movie deals, Bestseller, well-traveled.

And she bought a copy of MY book.
How insane is that?
Mrs. Billingsley even gave me more than I was selling TBF for and was like "Keep the change."
It's these seemingly small human connections that allow for the grandest of chances.
You can buy my latest novel The Big Five here if that tickles your fancy. Or feel free to email me about wiggling, convulsing, writing, pandering, or other various pursuits.

Well, here we are.
All of which are mine.
That's fine though. As the old folks say: I ain't stressin'.
This gives me something to work with.
So when I'm rich and famous, I can point to where it all started.
Right here.
With you.
Ain't that something.
Anyways.
I wrote a book called The Big Five. Which is the reason why I started this blog.
500 pages of awesome. Literally (hah.)
I'd sure 'ppreciate it if you bought it here.
It's sort of a hip, indie grassroots movement. Or whatever.
Thanks loves,
KL
