Fan Mail

Hello all!

Here's some peaceful music for your hearing pleasure. This is what I often listen to while writing, washing dishes, walking the dog, plotting world domination, and other various pursuits. Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1 is the stuff of dreams.

To add,

I've received more (you guessed it) FAN MAIL! I changed pronouns for sake of privacy, but it remains otherwise unaltered.

Hello Kay!

My name is Amy Cadmen and I work with your Mom at the City of                . Ever since she told a group of us how you had written a book [after we were giving one of our co-workers a hard time about not publishing a book written years ago about an event that happened over 20 years ago!], I told her that I would love to read your book.

Months had passed and I had forgotten my request when your Mom appeared in my office doorway with your book in hand and said it was mine if I was still interested in purchasing a copy. Absolutely! And I was quick to turn over the cash and start reading ... at first during lunch time breaks until I could stand it no longer. I took the book home over this last weekend and easily finished it by Sunday afternoon.

What a delight! You are a gifted writer. I thoroughly enjoyed your novel. It was well researched, characters were identifiable and relatable, the story within the story within the story is thought provoking and bizarrely entertaining. What a blast I had in conjuring up all the characters in my mind's eyes with the very vividly described scenes and activities you described in their journeys!

I understand that you have begun research for your next novel. I encourage you to continue writing and sharing with the world your gift of storytelling.

Appreciating you! And wishing you God speed!

Your newest fan club member,

Amy
